The Long Museum is a private art museum owned by Chinese billionaire collectors Liu Yiqian and Wang Wei. Located on the West Bund, the building was designed by Atelier Deshaus and the site was formerly used as the wharf for coal transportation. The vaulted concrete building often houses international artists; previous exhibitions include those of James Turrell and Olafur Eliasson.
