With the traditional British high tea currently experiencing a second coming The Sanderson hotel has found a way to make its mark amongst a sea of hotel tea options. Afternoon tea at The Sanderson takes inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party with an eclectic mix of traditional and untraditional offerings. Finger sandwiches are accompanied by vials of “Drink Me” potion, delicate “Eat Me” cakes and hot ‘n’ cold ice-cream lollipops dipped in popping candy. Hen’s parties beware, in traditional English fashion this tea party is not children’s play and guests are strictly warned that costumes will not be tolerated.
