Dining and particularly wining options in Bondi have always been limited to a handful of stalwarts but over the summer a number of new places have opened, including The Anchor Bar and Restaurant. A ‘small bar’, as they’re known in Sydney, The Anchor is vibrant and loud, and always busy with locals and those venturing in from other parts of Sydney. Skip dinner and come for the cocktails (rum in particular). They make a mean Negroni, perfect for an after dinner tipple.
