Goldies is a casual but happening spot serving modern Cal-cuisine, based on biodynamic and ethical foods. Go for the small sharing plates and sides; two of my picks are the Kale Salad, Brussel Sprouts and Roast Yellow Corn. All of their famous cocktails are amazing, but my personal favourite is the Golden Girl: spiced tequila, passionfruit, agave, lime meringue. And don’t be fooled by the sommelier who rocks up to the table in jeans, short-sleeved check shirt and sleeves of ink, he knows his stuff.
