Hidden behind Cole’s sandwich shop, The Varnish is probably one of the most stylish bars in LA. It’s a speakeasy that resembles more of a barber shop than a libation rest stop. Even though it may take a while for you to get your very complicated cocktail made by a very heavily moustached man, it is well worth the wait.
